Mission

The mission of the Oregon Sportsmen’s Conservation Partnership is to work together for the conservation of Oregon’s fish, wildlife, and natural resources while ensuring a strong future for hunting and fishing opportunities throughout Oregon. Members are united in their support of sound management decisions based on science and the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation.

Purpose

OSCP’s primary purpose is to protect the opportunities for all Oregonians to participate in the heritage of hunting, fishing, trapping, and recreational shooting while also ensuring that Oregon’s fish and wildlife populations continue to thrive in perpetuity.

Goals

Build unity, trust, and respect among partnership organizations and increase collective awareness and effectiveness
Focus on information-sharing and facilitating organizational coordination on issues of concern
Serve to amplify the voices of partnership organizations on agreed-upon topics
Maintain and advocate for science-based wildlife and fisheries management, rooted in the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation, specifically addressing habitat conservation, natural resources stewardship, and hunting, fishing, trapping, and recreational shooting opportunities
